Laminated glass
This is also a very famous form of glass and is made by putting together one or more layers of various polymeric material that can be bonded in between the glass layers to create laminated glass. Out of all the reasons why it is widely known, the main reason is because of its safety properties. In case it manages to break, instead of shattering shards around it does not do so because the inter-layer holds it safely together.
